Re: gap between members. Nope, I don’t think so. I don’t think they can ever perform and interact the way they do on stage (e.g. in Super Shows) if there’s a “gap” between Ming and the members. Besides, they’ve been together for more than a decade now (trainee years included) and with Leeteuk as the leader, I doubt gaps between members would remain unresolved for long.

He nags and sulks and rarely smiles at members? I know Sungmin to be a really quiet person who keeps to himself most of the time so it’s not really a surprise to me that he doesn’t smile at anyone, period. About the nagging, he barely even speaks, let alone nag. 

What’s so bad about sitting and listening? Sungmin’s not the leader and if I was, I’d rather my members sit and listen than butt in and be annoying. 
“He is a follower and not a leader.” Wow, what a revelation. 

“His function as a leader in SJ-M is non-existent.” He is not SJ-M’s leader per se. They were not appointed a leader after Hangeng, but let me refresh your memory a little. During SJ-M’s interview with Cool Magazine:

“As Heechul temporarily left, the first thing Sungmin did was take over Heechul’s cross-dressing plan.” Like Marilyn Mingroe was the first time Sungmin ever cross-dressed. I know Lady HeeHee’s phenomenal, but Sungmin’s crossed-dressed a number of times more than Heenim. Everybody knows Sungmin’s quite the cross-dresser since the beginning. Besides, ‘taking-over Heechul’s crossressing plan’ — that’s just ridiculous. Do you think the decisions about what they would and would not do on Super Shows rest on each of the members alone? I don’t. 

“There was one occasion he could not get a line perfect. Donghae was given the line later.” What’s so wrong about not getting ONE line perfect? That’s ONE line. We all have our limitations. So what if Sungmin couldn’t get that ONE line straight? I’m sure some of the members have been given tasks that weren’t meant for them in the beginning as well. That’s what other members in a group are for.

“There is nothing special about Kyumin’s friendship.” I will let Siwon tell you. 

Siwon: “I remember when Kyuhyun first joined us, he wasn’t that familiar with us, it was Sungmin who had his back from the start, their relationship’s like brothers, it only increased and never decreased over the years, like they could be friends forever. They would give each other moral support even if it was something unrelated to our performances. Us members are pretty touched watching them from the sides~”

“Sungmin also had 3-4 relationships with girls from different companies and so Kyumin had been deceiving me.” *SNORTS* Re: deception. You are so funny. I ship Kyumin pretty hard and if this was true—about Sungmin dating—I would never say they’ve been deceiving me. They aren’t in SJ to make people believe they’re real. You think like a 12-year old. But you probably are. And if Sungmin was dating, good for him. My bias is normal as can be.

“In the dorm, he never cooks. He is not a kitchen person at all.” When did Sungmin ever say, “I’m a kitchen person, y’all.” 

“He is just like any other man. I believe him to be truly cute and feminine but he is very opposite.” It’s not like everybody doesn’t know Ming’s both cute & feminine and manly. Even the members can attest to that. This makes me like him even more.

I’m not even being unreasonably defensive but this is just sick. So, sleeping is a crime now? Wow, people. Just, WOW.

We all know that an idol, especially those from Korea, lacks sleep above anything else. They’d get four hours sleep tops probably less and clearly, that is NOT enough. I’d probably be a walking zombie if I had to run on four hours of sleep every fucking day. Or have you forgotten that SUNGMIN IS HUMAN TOO?/le gasp

I am human. I’d love to sleep ALL DAY if I can. How much more Sungmin? The guy has Sukira up ‘til midnight almost all days of the week. Give him a break. Pffft. Besides, it’s not like he’s completely “slacking off.” If working as hard as Sungmin is slacking off, you and I might as well be sloths. Someone who hadn’t worked in show business wouldn’t understand how taxing it could be for an artist to keep up with schedules and concerts and everything in between… and Super Junior is a pretty busy group. I’m not saying I understand completely, since I’m not a celebrity myself. But I try to understand. And from what I do, I’d say Sungmin is doing a pretty good job of holding himself up amidst whatever shit EVERYTHING showbiz throws at him.

AND REALLY, IT’S NOT SUNGMIN’S FAULT THAT HE CAN LEARN EVERYTHING QUICKLY. THAT IN ITSELF IS A GIFT. SUNGMIN’S TALENT IS LEARNING. Sure, we may be jealous of it, but we have no right to bash him for his TALENT. And whatever GAP it is between his members and him, it’s not our fucking problem to deal with. I nag my friends all the time and I don’t really smile at them for no reason (I mean, come on! How creepy would it be if you went out of the bathroom to see your friend outside the door with a goofy grin on his face!?), but we’re still friends even after a decade or so. Have you even considered that you wouldn’t even have the audacity to ‘nag’ someone unless you’re close with each other? And we all know how Koreans can be so rigid when it comes to respecting personal space and whatnot.THINK ABOUT IT.

Also, you should learn to accept that not all people can be “innovative” as you put it. If that was the case, we’d all be freakin’ scientists by now. Mediocrity is not a sin JS.

And yes. Sungmin is a follower. Not a leader. That’s Leeteuk, remember? Even so, if he’s indeed a follower, that means he’s a GOOD MEMBER because he follows well. After all, one cannot serve two masters at a time. Can you imagine how chaotic it would be if each and every Super Junior member would want his idea to be followed in the choreography and/or decision-making? NO. JUST NO. And SJ-M has basically no official leader, jsyk.

Sungmin just recently joined SJ-M at the time they were filming those variety shows. It’s a wonder he could at least understand half of the things that were being said. Eunhyuk doesn’t know much Mandarin yet, too, but I don’t see you criticizing him. Makes me wonder if you were really a Sungmin fan or just a sad… sad… hater. Besides, he pawns everyone at Japanese. All members agree to this. Just because he prefers to learn a different language as it it his interest, doesn’t mean he’s not interested to improve and learn.

BTW. I think Sungmin is doing a pretty good job of ‘taking-over Heechul’s cross-dressing plan’ ~ I don’t get what’s so wrong with that.

One mistake is one mistake. I reiterate, Sungmin is human. There will always be something that is bound to be beyond his capability to do. Just because he seems perfect, doesn’t mean he’s not entitled to commit mistakes. Remember, mistakes teach us lessons - lessons that make us a stronger person.

As to the friendship thing, I think Heechul (I may be wrong) was asked who his most special friend is and he answered: “Aren’t all friends special?” #THATSPRETTYSELFEXPLANATORYIMO ~ SRSLY though. You can’t be roommates with someone you can’t stand for several years without cracking. As I see it, both Sungmin and Kyuhyun are still pretty sane. Co-worker or not, a friend is a friend.

I SHIP KYUMIN - HARD. But I don’t seriously think they’re gay. I mean, I wish they were. The thing is, I know how to differentiate fantasy from reality. They’re not called fan-FICTION for nothing. Or do I need to explain to you what the word fiction means? And no, it’s not just the song.

He’s 26-fucking-years-old. Legal in all countries. More than allowed to date and enjoy his bachelorhood. I know barely 20-year-old guys who have had more than 4 girlfriends but it’s okay for them to be in those relationships but not okay for Sungmin? OH… I can totally see the injustice in this. You don’t really expect him to have zero relationships in his twenties and just automatically get married to the first girl who’s willing by the time he’s thirty-five because time’s running out and he needs to get married already.

So much for saying “I want oppa to be happy!” when you’re clearly doing anything to restrict him from being ‘happy.’

I’m Sungmin-biased myself. Like everybody, I cringe at the thought of Sungmin possibly having a girlfriend which I really think he does btw. But if that’s what makes him happy, I know I’d be MATURE enough to give him my blessing and be happy for him. After all, I’m just a mere fan. I don’t own him or anything. Clearly, some people has difficulty understanding that.

KyuMin is not ‘deceiving’ you. They never said they were a real couple anyway. IDK with you, but I ship what I ship because it makes me happy. If there’s anything KyuMin should ever be guilty of, it would probably be making me happy.

Sungmin is not a kitchen person. He is just a person. Surprise surprise!

Ryeowook cooks because he wants to, because it’s his passion, because it makes him happy.

Yesung often goes to stay with his family and he takes care of his pets because it makes him happy.
